Q. HOW DO I PAY FOR THIS?
We take care of all expenses up front. You receive an estimate of costs with
the agreement prior to transport. We accept checks, Visa, Master Card, and
cash. We do understand the cost for the program is an investment in your loved
one so we can finance our transportation costs for you. We charge for financing.
Q. WHAT IF MY CHILD PUTS UP A FIGHT, ACTS OUT, RESISTS, REFUSES TO GO, ETC.?
This is expected. Each chaplain is trained and aware on how to deal with these situations.
Q. HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED?
We are ready at a moments notice. The major factor is flight availability.
Q. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR THE ESCORT?
The most important thing we like to see prior to the escort is that the parent(s) are comfortable with the agents coming to escort your child. Prior to the escort the chaplains assigned to you to contact you and go over pre-escort instructions. Both the Emergency Escort Team and the family be in unity for a smooth escort.
Q. WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO ESCORT?
We like to pick up your child very early in the morning. We will come to where the child is and have you take us to their room. Once in the room we ask that you introduce us by our first names and tell your child that we need to talk to them and ask them to cooperate with us. At this point tell them briefly what you would like, bearing in mind that now they are going to be very upset and will not hear a lot that you say. We ask that you leave the house with all the occupants. We then spend some time talking to them explaining what is taking place. When they are ready we head to the airport. From this time on they are never more than an arm's length away from us.
Q. DO YOU PROVIDE REFERENCES?
